Terms of Service

The rules for using our app

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MilkLog on supported Apple devices. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

MilkLog provides tools to record and visualize baby feeding information on your device. Features may include logging, charts, reminders, widgets, shortcuts, optional iCloud sync, and export. We may update or change features over time.

2. Not medical advice

The App is for personal logging and convenience only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow guidance from qualified healthcare professionals regarding feeding, nutrition, allergies, medications, and emergencies. If you have concerns about an infant’s health, contact a doctor or emergency services.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services and App Store terms that apply to you.

4. Apple and iCloud

Your use of the App must comply with Apple’s applicable terms (including App Store and iCloud terms). Sync, backups, and account security depend on your Apple ID and device settings. We are not responsible for Apple’s services or outages.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it in violation of law. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.

6. Your content

You retain rights to the information you enter. You grant us no license to use that information except as needed to provide the App on your device (and, if you enable it, through Apple’s sync services as described in our Privacy Policy).

7. Paid features

If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s payment flow and your Apple ID settings, unless we notify you otherwise in the App.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION DISPLAYED IN IT, INCLUDING FEEDING REMINDERS OR SUMMARIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP OR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), IF APPLICABLE LAW ALLOWS SUCH A CAP.

10. Updates and termination

We may release updates that add or remove features. We may suspend or discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and liability limits) will survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence or the jurisdiction we designate for disputes, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
