The rules for using our app

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of My Homework on supported Apple devices. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

My Homework helps parents and students record daily homework, organize tasks by subject, share data through Apple CloudKit when enabled, view statistics, and use widgets. Features may change over time as we improve the App.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of the homework text, attachments, and other content you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of that content and for whom you invite to a family share.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it in violation of law. You are responsible for invitations you send and data you sync.

4. Sharing and third-party services

Family sharing and iCloud sync rely on Apple services governed by Apple’s terms. Pasting text from messaging apps is at your discretion; we do not access those apps on your behalf. We are not responsible for third-party services you use alongside the App.

5. No professional or school guarantee

The App is a personal organization tool. It does not guarantee academic outcomes, official school compliance, or correctness of parsed homework text. Always verify assignments with teachers or official school channels.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. Updates and termination

We may release updates that add or remove features. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence or the jurisdiction we designate for disputes, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
