How we handle your data

SuperText (the “App”) is a text effects and creative writing tool for Apple devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how that information is handled. The App is designed to work locally on your device and does not require an account.

1. Information the App processes

Depending on how you use the App, it may process:

  • Text you enter: content you type or paste into the App so it can generate effects, conversions, or formatted output.
  • App settings: preferences such as theme, last-used options, or editor state that are saved locally on your device.
  • Exported files: if you save or share results, those files are created on your device or sent to destinations you choose.

2. Local storage

By default, the App keeps your content and settings on your device using Apple-provided local storage. We do not operate our own backend servers for the App’s core functionality, and we do not host your text content on our servers.

3. Analytics and advertising

The App is not designed to show third-party advertising. We do not sell your personal information. We do not intentionally track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.

4. Third-party services

If you choose to share content through Apple system features such as the share sheet, AirDrop, or a third-party destination, that content is handled according to those services’ own terms and privacy practices. We do not control how third parties process shared content.

5. Your choices

  • You can clear or replace the text you enter inside the App.
  • You can delete exported files from your device or cloud storage locations you choose.
  • You can uninstall the App to remove locally stored settings and content managed by the App on that device.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will be revised when that happens.
