The rules for using our apps

Welcome to vJSON. By downloading, installing, or using the App (including the Safari Web Extension), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License

Subject to these Terms and the Mac App Store rules, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Mac computers you own or control, for the purpose of viewing and formatting JSON in Safari as described by the App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights. You must not use the App to interfere with Safari, other software, or networks in an unauthorized way, or to access data you are not permitted to access.

4. Your content

You retain any rights in JSON or other content you view. We do not claim ownership of that content. You are responsible for your use of the App with respect to confidential or regulated data.

5. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT FORMATTED OUTPUT MATCHES EVERY EDGE CASE OF THE JSON SPECIFICATION.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

7. Updates and termination

We may update the App or these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence where mandatory consumer protections apply; otherwise, the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
